A Global Security Emergency. Not a Ripple for ILGM Clients.

Oct 21, 2026 | Support & Updates, Urgent

When critical vulnerabilities threatened websites worldwide,
preparation made all the difference!

esterday, October 21, two critical PHP security vulnerabilities rated 9.2 out of 10 in severity triggered urgent warnings from the FBI and NSA. Government agencies, major corporations, hospitals, universities, and even cybersecurity companies took websites and services offline as the threat unfolded. This wasn’t a routine WordPress plugin issue. It was a serious threat to the underlying technology that powers millions of websites.

Yet ILGM clients experienced absolutely no disruption. Our security mechanisms and infrastructure protections were already in place before the public announcement. No emergency shutdowns. No interrupted business operations. Not even a ripple.

The ILGM Difference

For more than 30 years, ILGM has been a software engineering and technology company, not simply a website management service. Our proprietary monitoring systems, security technologies, and engineering expertise work alongside longstanding relationships with industry leading technology companies, some dating back to their earliest days. Together, these capabilities help us identify threats, implement protections, and maintain the infrastructure businesses depend on. Anyone can update website content. Keeping a website secure, operational, and ahead of emerging threats is what we do every day.

Behind the Scenes at ILGM

We understand that support tickets and everyday requests don’t always receive responses as quickly as our clients would like. But much of what we do happens quietly behind the scenes, beyond the visibility of a support ticket or email. Yesterday was a perfect example. While you may not have heard from us, we were already looking out for you.

While our clients continued operating normally during this global PHP security emergency, we continued our engineering, development, and security work behind the scenes.

To put that activity into perspective, here’s a snapshot of our software development records over just 48 hours:

Development Activity Last 48 Hours
Files added or modified 690
Lines added to our software repository 154,052
Lines removed 176
Software projects addressed 10

Most of this work happens quietly, without clients ever needing to know it’s taking place. And that’s exactly how we believe it should work, so you can focus on running your business.

Sometimes the most important work we do is the work you’ll never know needed to be done.
